I’m Nyasha Manyika – and I’ve walked the path you’re on.
From the muddy construction sites of rural Zimbabwe to the boardrooms of national infrastructure projects, I’ve experienced the highs and lows of this profession. I’m an award‑winning civil engineer, the author of Beyond the Blueprints, and the founder of the Engineering Career Accelerator (E‑CAMP). My mission is to help young engineers become the leaders our country needs.

From Confusion to Clarity
When I first graduated, I thought my engineering degree was enough. I was wrong. I walked onto sites feeling like an imposter, struggled to communicate with contractors, and wondered why my technical brilliance wasn’t translating into career growth.
I learned that engineering is a human business.
I learned the hard way that engineering is a human business. It’s not just about calculations – it’s about relationships, resilience, and the courage to lead. I spent years piecing together the lessons I wish I’d been taught in university. Eventually, I found my footing, earning recognition from the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers and leading high‑impact rural infrastructure projects.
This journey taught me one thing: every engineer can become more than just a technician. We can be nation‑builders.
My Mission: Build Engineers Who Build Zimbabwe
I believe that technical skills are just the starting line. To truly serve our communities and contribute to Vision 2030, engineers need character, communication, and a strategic mindset. That’s why I wrote Beyond the Blueprints and created E‑CAMP.
My mission is to equip young engineers with the code they need to lead – whether they’re designing a bridge, managing a team, or shaping national policy.
